Butterflies will fill the sky above the Memorial Garden at Northwest Community Hospital. Every spring, the hospital hosts a Spring Butterfly Release to remember the precious babies lost to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or newborn death.
The event, organized by the hospital’s Renew Through Sharing program, honors the mothers and fathers whose babies are still remembered in their hearts. Each person will receive their own butterfly to release that morning in memory of their baby.
The Spring Butterfly Release begins at 11 a.m. Guests will meet in the Village Café in the North Pavilion of Northwest Community Hospital, 800 W. Central Road in Arlington Heights. Friends and family are welcome.
