S-Factor

Stevenson High School's Kiva Club is sponsoring a singing competition for students on Friday, January 6 to raise money that can be loaned to entrepreneurs in third-world countries. The inaugural S-Factor — inspired by the Fox program X-Factor — will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the West Auditorium.

Tickets will be sold in school during the week of January 3 for $5, with admission at the door $7. Food and refreshments will be on sale during an intermission. All money raised at the event will go to Kiva, which is the parent organization for the Kiva Club. The club's goal is to raise $1,500 at the event. Students who perform in the competition have been chosen based on their performance at auditions in early December.
