Come to the library to listen as patriotic, sentimental and comic songs, the songs of Stephen Foster, Daniel Emmett and others are brought to life by David Corbett and the Battlefield Balladeers. They will sing songs of the Civil War era accompanied by a variety of stringed instruments, tambourines and harmonicas. Historic quotes of Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Frederick Douglas and Mark Twain will also be presented.
