(Buffalo Grove)Saint Mary School is excited to announce the 37th Annual Catholic Band Director's Festival, hosted by Mr. Richard Case, St. Mary School Band Director. Sixteen bands from area grade schools will be participating in this years festivities. Bands perform in front of 3 judges and compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Performances are Saturday, March 12, 2011, in the Duffy Activity Center at Saint Mary School Buffalo Grove, 50 N. Buffalo Grove Rd. in Buffalo Grove. The festival runs from 8am-3pm. Saint Mary will have over 63 students performing between the Junior and Senior bands. The St. Mary Junior band will perform at 10:40am and the Saint Mary Senior Band will perform at 2:10pm. Concessions will be served throughout the day. Admission is free, however, donations will be accepted to benefit the St Mary School Band program. Please join our musicians and area school bands for this momentous event!
