Fire Closes Buffalo Grove High School Wednesday: District 214

Officials said no one was injured following a "small" Tuesday evening fire in the building.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Buffalo Grove High School will be closed Wednesday due to a small fire in the building, according to Township High School District 214. The district said "everyone is safe" following the Tuesday evening fire.

Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove firefighters responded to the school for a fire alarm that was triggered from the English wing, according to the district. The fire was extinguished quickly.

District 214 said information about after-school activities and events will be available by noon Wednesday.
