You're living large in life- all is good. In fact, it is Great! Then you get hit with a setback. Then another, then a massive shocker- that changes your life forever.
Your world is turned upside down and against all odds, you battle back. You give it everything you have. You take on the unreal and see a new real. Life still goes on...
You ask why and you don't get any answers, at least concrete ones. Yet you become, a person your fate has led you to. It's not what your dreams were made of. You don't deserve the shock, the pain, the horror. Life has no boundaries, no shame, no favorites.
You struggle to make the best. You work hard. You keep your chin up. You look for answers. The rewards seem smaller now. You lose some of the joy, the pep, the sunshine. Yet you still refuse to give in.
You search for the light within the darkness and you know what?
You have become a leader, an icon, a hero, a saint! Not in your own eyes, but to others. I'm one of those "others".
My wife, my Mom and my sister- all have been through hell!
These three women do the impossible. They comfort, they encourage and they represent lessons that G-d wants us so desperately to learn. Wisdom, courage, desire, fortitude, pride.
They take the negative and crush it, into the positive. They cry inside and turn those tears into an elixir for others to heal- to deal, to feel- to smile and laugh and love. That's power, their gift for others - they are MOTHERS! (in it's greatest form)
