Halloween 2022: Buffalo Grove Designates Trick-Or-Treat Hours

The fire and police departments are bringing back the Trick or Treat Drive-Thru on Sunday.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Halloween falls on Monday this year, so you still have time this weekend to stock up on candy if you haven't. In Buffalo Grove, the Village has designated residents to limit trick-or-treating to between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.

For those planning to welcome trick-or-treaters, the Village is asking residents to leave their exterior lights (garage and front porch, for example) turned on to indicate such.

Before the official holiday, the Buffalo Grove police and fire departments are hosting the annual Trick-Or-Treat Drive-Thru from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Put on your costumes, hop in the car and cruise over to Fire Station 26, 1051 Highland Grove Drive. For everyone's safety, walk-ups are not permitted. Organizers are asking residents to remain in their vehicles and have your treat bags ready.
