Indian Trails Cardholders Offered Discounts

More than 30 area businesses are offering special discounts to Indian Trails Public Library District's patrons through September's Smartest Card Month: Show Us Your Library Card promotion.

Smartest Card Month: Show Us Your Library Card is a month-long activity that ensures children and adults have signed up for their Indian Trails Public Library District card.

"The participation and generosity of these businesses is invaluable to this campaign," said Jennifer Koch, Indian Trails Library Public Relations Manager. "We are very excited for our patrons who get to take advantage of some great savings opportunities with the help of their library card."

In addition to the excellent services and materials we offer, through this program the public can save a lot of money at the most opportune time. Indian Trails Library will have weekly drawings for prizes for adults and children during September. Adults who sign up for their library card will be able to enter a chance to win a dozen bagels a month for an entire year at Chicago Bagel & Bialy II in Wheeling. Children who win will take home an Indian Trails Library lanyard. Pictures will be taken of children and adults with their library cards throughout the month of September as well.

Those interested in getting a library card must have proof of address and a completed library card application. Acceptable forms of identification include driver's license, checks, mail received, or anything that shows a current local address. Registration cards for patrons under 15 must be co-signed by a parent or guardian.
