KCSD 96: Registering New Students In July

During the month of July, school offices are closed and students who are new to District 96 may be registered through the KCSD 96 District Office, 1050 Ivy Hall Lane in Buffalo Grove.

Parents and guardians may contact the Media & Communications Specialist at 847-459-4260, ext. 8022, or via email at sesters@kcsd96.org. The District Office's summer hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To register a new student to District 96, families need to present or email these items to sesters@kcsd96.org:

• Current driver's license (parent or guardian)
• Student's birth certificate, travel visa, or passport (not a copy)
• Current tax bill or monthly mortgage or lease statement
• Current utility bill
• Residency Form [Japanese | Korean | Polish | Russian | Spanish]
• Home Language Survey [Japanese | Korean | Polish | Russian | Spanish]
• Enrollment Information [Japanese | Korean | Polish | Russian | Spanish]

The 2022-23 school year starts on Thursday, Aug. 18, which is a half-day. Half-day dismissal times are:

• Blended dismisses at 11 a.m. (only Blended AM attends)
• Kindergarten and SLC dismiss at 11:45 a.m.
• Grades 1-5 dismiss at 11:45 a.m.
• Grades 6-8 dismiss at 11:10 a.m.
