Lake Co. Board Member Stepping Down Due To Health Reasons
Candidates are being sought to take Adam Didech's seat after the county board member announced Monday he'd be leaving his post in Feb.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Lake County Board Chair Sandy Hart is seeking qualified candidates to fill the county board seat for District 20. On Monday, county board member Adam Didech, who currently represents District 20, announced he'd be stepping down from his seat due to personal health reasons.
Didech's last day on the county board will be Feb. 10. District 20 includes Buffalo Grove, portions of Long Grove and portions of the unincorporated areas of Vernon and Ela Townships. Didech was elected to the county board in 2018.
"I will truly miss serving with Adam," Hart said. "He is a smart, kind, funny and caring person who I know will go on to do great things. I do understand, though, that his health must come first."
