Local dancers headed to NY Finals

Over the past few months dancers from around the globe have been participating in Youth America Grand Prix( YAGP ) the worlds largest and most prestigious dance competition all vying for a place in the April New York finals

Representing the USA will be 7 local dancers all trained at On Your Toes Academy Of Dance in Buffalo Grove, from Stevenson High School Calli Taitz ( 2016 Calli represented as a choreographer), Sivan Guzman, Arielle Reinstein , Elyana London, from Twin Groves Zoey Silver and from Vernon Hills High Marisa Edler and Rebecca Alterson .

The dancers will travel to New York with their company director Louise Taitz and their choreographer Laura Moschel .

Representing the USA in such an internationally recognized competition is truly a dream come true for these hard working , dedicated and committed ladies who will also take class with New York based contemporary choreographer Ashley Lindsey , they will have a photo shoot with American Ballet Theater photographer Luis Pons and hopefully have the experience of a lifetime .
