Longtime Buffalo Grove Police Department Employee Retires
Records Unit Supervisor Linda Paul served the department for more than 30 years.

The Buffalo Grove Police Department said farewell to longtime Records Unit Supervisor, Linda Paul on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Paul retired after more than 30 years of service to the department and the community.

Paul first joined the agency in 1988, when the police department was still housed in the basement at Village Hall. She was promoted to Records Supervisor in 2000, where she was responsible for overseeing police records, including citations and arrests, as well as public requests for information and reporting to state and federal agencies.
To date, Paul has received numerous awards including Employee of the Year (2001) and Employee of the Quarter (2000), in addition to several Unit Citations.

Paul stated the best part of her job is, “keeping accurate and organized records” and ensuring the employees have all they need.
The police department and the Village thank her for her 32 years of service and wish her all the best in her retirement.
