Man Killed After Driving Into Nitrogen Tank Cage: Buffalo Grove P.D.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A driver was killed Sunday after driving his vehicle into a nitrogen tank cage next to the Vapor Bus International building, 1010 Johnson Drive. The Village of Buffalo Grove said the incident occurred at around 4:38 p.m.

Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. The 42-year-old male was the only occupant of the vehicle and he was declared dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the police department's traffic unit, with assistance from the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team. No further information is available at this time, but the Village did say it would send out further details when they becomes available.
