Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Buffalo Grove Opening Next Month

A medical marijuana dispensary in Buffalo Grove is expected to open in a storefront at 1623 Barclay Boulevard next month.

Professional Dispensaries of Illinois will be the first medical marijuana dispensary in Buffalo Grove and is meant to serve patients in the village as well is in Lake, McHenry and northern Cook counties. 

The dispensary will offer pharmaceutical-grade cannabis products including edibles, tinctures, concentrates, and buds, according to a press release from PDI.

PDI Medical will host a credentialing event on Oct. 24 at Mark Drugs in Deerfield, at 1020 Milwaukee Ave #140, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help qualified patients receive state approval to purchase medical marijuana.
