Miami, Carthage, Clark Honor Buffalo Grove Students

Miami University

OXFORD, OH — Miami University conferred more than 4,500 degrees on May 16 at Yager Stadium as part of its 2026 Spring Commencement ceremony.

The following Buffalo Grove students earned degrees:

• Braeden Fuenfer
• Ally Gitler
• Amy Goldenberg
• Ryan Teitelbaum

Miami University also announced students who were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester. Students ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division were named to the list.

The following Buffalo Grove students were recognized:

• Maria Mikulec
• Jeremy Robin
• Mariam Shahzadah

Clark University

WORCESTER, MA — Alex Smovska, of Buffalo Grove, was named to second honors on the Clark University Dean’s List for the Spring 2026 semester.

The recognition marks outstanding academic achievement. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or higher for first honors, or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Carthage College

KENOSHA, WI — Carthage College announced students named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.

Dean’s List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 12 letter-graded credits in a given semester.

The following Buffalo Grove students were named to the Dean’s List:

• Mark Wolpoff
• Taylor Ashe

Muhlenberg College

ALLENTOWN, PA — Frank Frank, of Buffalo Grove, was named to the spring 2026 Dean’s List at Muhlenberg College while studying mathematics.

Frank is a graduate of Rochelle Zell Jewish High School.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, Muhlenberg College students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or better while taking three or more course units during a semester.
