New Contract For Buffalo Grove Cops Approved
A two-year deal that includes a 3 percent raise for Buffalo Grove police officers has been approved.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL - A new contract for Buffalo Grove police officers has been approved. Officers went nearly a year without a current contract, the Daily Herald reports.
The agreement is for two years and is retroactive, so it will expire at the end of 2018. It includes a three percent raise for officers and ensures police officers will be paid between $69,000 and $102,000 a year.
Health insurance issues were at the center of negotiations, the Herald reports.
