Nominate Spooky Buffalo Grove Yards for Inaugural Halloween Decorating Contest
The Buffalo Grove Arts Commission is accepting submissions now for the best Halloween yard decorations in the village.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL - The Buffalo Grove Arts Commission will be hosting its first-ever Halloween Yard Decorating Contest this year in Buffalo Grove. The contest is meant to determine the yard with the spookiest Halloween decorations in the village and will run through Oct. 20.
Judging will be based on quality and craftsmanship, design, creativity, uniqueness and originality. Those interested in applying for the contest can send four photos or one video to info@vbg.org. Judges will visit the property and decide on a winner. Winners will be informed by October 31, according to the news release.
First through third place will receive a ribbon and a yard sign.
