Open Houses Planned Regarding Buffalo Grove High Athletic Fields
The school and District 214 will discuss the plans at two separate open houses this week.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Two open houses are scheduled this week regarding athletic fields renovation plans at Buffalo Grove High School. The school and Township High School District 214 will present plans for renovations that will begin this summer and last the next several years.
The community is invited to the following events:
- 7 p.m. Tuesday, Buffalo Grove High School library (enter main entrance), 1100 West Dundee Road
- 7 p.m. Thursday, Buffalo Grove High School library, 1100 West Dundee Road
According to District 214, the events will include a short presentation by architects and staff, including:

- How the projects will positively impact the visitor experience.
- Renovations plans for the summer of 2024
- Phasing plans for future improvements
- Renderings of what the fields will look like
- How the District works collaboratively with the village and the regional stormwater authority to ensure compliance with state and local zoning laws and stormwater control requirements
- An opportunity for community members to ask questions and offer comments
