Pancake Breakfast During BG Days to Benefit Highland Park Victims
The Buffalo Grove Rotary has partnered with the Village and Park District and the first 1,000 people there will be served.

In partnership with the Village of Buffalo Grove and the Buffalo Grove Park District, the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club is hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday, September 4 from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Mike Rylko Community Park. The first 1,000 people who arrive will receive a complimentary breakfast, and donations raised will go directly to the Highland Park Community Foundation to support victims of the July 4th Highland Park tragedy, along with their families and service providers.
“This is very personal to me because I’m originally from Highland Park, as well as other members of our club,” said the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club President Lisa Siwek. “It was devastating to learn the extent of the impact to residents of our neighboring community. We want to do whatever we can to support them.”
The Rotary club has more than 30 years of experience hosting pancake breakfasts and eagerly volunteered for this cause. Several local restaurants and businesses have made in-kind donations to support the event.
