Inaugural Lake County Restaurant Week Kicks Off Friday
The first-ever restaurant week will be held from June 10 through June 19.

From June 10 to June 19, customers will experience the rich tastes of delicious fare for 10 Days to Savor as Visit Lake County unveils its first Lake County Restaurant Week.
Over 40 restaurants across Lake County are participating in the early summer event. Each restaurant is providing a different dining offer or a prix fixe menu for the 10 Days to Savor. The highly-anticipated affair is sponsored by 102.3 WXLC.

The event is perfect for those who are food aficionados, those who appreciate exploring new places to dine and those who enjoy old favorites.
A kickoff event will be held at The Chocolate Sanctuary in Gurnee on Wednesday, June 8 from 4-6 p.m. hosted by 102.3 WXLC.

“Jason Yuhasz from Sullivan’s Steakhouse approached us a while ago with the idea of showcasing the restaurants in Lake County.” said Visit Lake County President Maureen Riedy. “Restaurant Weeks across the country have been very successful, and we thought it was time to introduce the concept to Lake County. We have so many unique dining experiences.”
The Restaurant Week Committee members include restaurants Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Eddie Merlot’s in Lincolnshire, ZaZa’s Tavola Italiana in Barrington, Bill’s Pizza and Pub in Mundelein, Bill’s Pizza North in Grayslake and the Village Tavern in Long Grove.
