Sente Announces Mid-Session Town Hall Meeting

State Representative Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, is holding a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, April 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Buffalo Grove Village Hall located at 50 Raupp Boulevard in Buffalo Grove.

“Many important issues have been brought before the General Assembly over the past few weeks, yet the discussion continues as I work to address the issues of importance to our district,” Sente said. “Hundreds of new laws have been proposed, including several initiatives of mine to promote public safety, economic development, responsible state budgeting, and increase government accountability.”

Sente is partnering with State Representative Elaine Nekritz, D-Northbrook, who represents the other half of Buffalo Grove, and Buffalo Grove Village President Jeff Braiman. Residents are encouraged to attend to receive an update on local and state initiatives, ask questions, and collaborate on ideas for how to improve the state and community.

“The upcoming break from session provides us an opportunity to engage with residents and gather feedback on proposals before the state legislature,” Sente said. “I look forward to collaborating with members of the community on ways we can improve our economy and make our state stronger.”
