Starbucks Near Buffalo Grove High School May Soon Serve Alcohol
Do you have a problem with the Starbucks across the street from BGHS serving alcohol?

The Buffalo Grove Village Board this past week approved a new liquor license that would allow a Starbucks across the street from Buffalo Grove High School to add beer and wine to its menu, the Buffalo Grove Countryside reports.
Starbucks has not yet decided if the Buffalo Grove location at 1205 W. Dundee Road would be added to its “Starbucks Evenings” program, which is meant to draw customers back at night. The village board approved an additional liquor license for its Class E category just in case the coffee giant does move forward with serving alcohol at the local Starbucks, according to the article
“We’re in the very early stages of considering our store on Dundee Rd. in Buffalo Grove for the Evenings menu,” a company spokeswoman said in an email to the Buffalo Grove Countryside. “It’s a long and thoughtful process and the permit filing is just one of many steps we take.”
