Surveillance Photos Released In Buffalo Grove Bank Robbery

The bank robbery occurred Friday evening at a Chase Bank in Buffalo Grove.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL -- The Buffalo Grove Police Department has released surveillance photos from a bank robbery Friday evening at a Chase Bank in town. The suspect in the robbery remains at large and the police department is asking for the public's help in tracking him down. Police said a man entered the Chase Bank at 175 N. McHenry Road at about 4:55 p.m. on Friday.

The suspect passed a note to the teller and implied he had a weapon and also demanded money. The suspect left the location with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a news release from the Buffalo Grove Police Department.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5-feet 10-inches tall to 6-feet tall with a medium build, according to the news release. He is between 25 to 30 years old. He has short dark hair with a part in the middle and no facial hair. At the time of the bank robbery he was wearing a light, striped, button-up shirt and a black, full-length zip jacket and dark sunglasses.

Over the weekend, the Buffalo Grove Police Department shared the following surveillance photos with the hopes of tracking down the suspect.
