The First Step

Well, I've decided to publicly throw whatever I have in my head onto paper, or digital paper, anyway. I've always liked the idea diaries, although I've never liked physically writing because it's too slow for me - plus my hand cramps up. So all in all, this is the perfect way to go for me.

I'm not going to say I'm just the average guy, because I don't believe in such a thing as the "average person". People can be in majorities and minorities for different ideas, but everyone is a minority in the sense that they are themselves. So whenever I post it's going to be from the point of Howard Wu, a guy who loves too many things to list.

However, I feel I should at least base this blog on specific topics sooo...

1. I'm going to post in this every week to organize my thoughts on the economy from the perceptive of a trailing millennial (born in 90s)

2. I'm going to always try to include something happy or motivational at the end: life is wonderful, and anyone who says otherwise (myself included) either needs a hug, a friend, or both.

3. Maybe some new fact/story just for the sake of it too?

And now that I've spent about 40 minutes too much on this, I better get back to my Calc homework!

Plus of the week: US astronaut Eugene Cernan wrote his daughter's initials on a rock on the moon. And because there is very little atmospheric winds to blow it away, it will remain there for thousands of years.

Random: Author John Green (the guy who writes all those sappy love stories that make girls cry and guys' eyes sweat?) is also the same guy who is prominently featured on the YouTube channel CrashCourse.
