At their regular meeting on Monday, November 18, Vernon Area Public Library Board President Marc Fenton appointed former library trustee Edward Kogan to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of longtime trustee Jay Kasten in October.

This is the second time Kogan has been appointed to the board to fill an empty seat.

Kogan was first appointed to the Vernon Area Public Library Board of Trustees in July 2012 to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of longtime board member Elizabeth "Betty" Stover in June 2012.
