VP Business Showcase: Celebrate Local Business and Organizations With Us!

The 2nd annual VP Business Showcase is coming up soon! Join us as we cast a spotlight on area businesses and non-profit organizations located in the Northwest Suburbs...you could also take home some really great stuff! More on that later....

The VP Business Showcase is presented by Vicarious Productions (thus the VP), a public relations/marketing firm in Palatine. The event was created in 2014 with a singular goal in mind; to promote shopping locally, learning more about area professional service providers and supporting local charitable organizations. This is accomplished by engaging area residents and business people to attend and learn more about our 30 business/organization participants.

All attendees receive a complimentary glass of wine, courtesy of d’Vine Wine and Gifts and hor d’oeuvres will be provided by Hot Dog Richie’s (and no, it’s won’t just be delicious samples of Vienna Beef hot dogs!!) Everyone gets a takeaway bag with goodies in it-as well as a passport that you can get stamped at each showcase table.

Other goodies: You can qualify to win a number of really great door prizes and giveaways, including a getaway trip for two to a quaint Door County cottage, spa and salon packages, a wine tasting for 30 people, restaurant gift certificates and many other fabulous takeaways.

Our showcase vendors can be found here, and will be providing product and service demonstrations (spa and salon services from Salon Lorrene, mini massages from Castle Chiropractic and more as you browse boutique clothing and handbags from Bedazzled, custom hand-crafted jewelry from Betsy’s One of a Kind, rhinestone embellished apparel from Cristal-Me, or sweet treats for you at Christie’s Dairy Delights (or your canine at Tammy’s Delights) among other shopping options.

You’ll also encounter professional service providers that can improve your home like Olson Windows and Doors, which you guessed it, provide windows and doors and more, fix your heating or air conditioning with Active Air Plus, or handle issues with your computer at home with Hogans Systems Consulting or at your business with Technology Masters- or, if you want a new way to take credit cards payments..check out Ignite Payments. Want to get into shape? We’ve got personal trainers who will show you how to maximize your workouts at The Exercise Coach, in Palatine, you can learn more about martial arts for you or your children at J.P. Wood Martial Arts America and you’ll encounter a nutritional supplement company called Usana (Independent Representative Chris Goeller) who can [all] help you reach that New Year’s resolution! And don’t forget to check out local dentist Joe Favia from Favia Family Dental who works with adults and kids, local bank Palatine Bank and Trust, Christopher Paul Photography, a professional photographer or a company call A Plus Property Management that can manage your rental properties.

We also have three charity partners who serve, 1) C.A.T.I.F. [Celebrating All That Is Feminine] who raises funds for women and children in crisis, 2) The Bridge Youth and Family Services, which offers counseling services to families at no cost and 3) Arlington Cares, NFP, an organization that raises funds for a local emergency fund.

The VP Business Showcase is also a great place to network and mingle with area residents, business owners and other professionals.

Join us on Thursday, February 12 from 5:30pm until 8 p.m. in the beautiful Bronze Ballroom (2nd floor) at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Palatine/N. Arlington Heights. It’s conveniently located at Route 53 and Dundee Road, right next to World Gym.

We’re already taking showcase table reservations for 2016! This event is lots of fun, well attended, and doing what we believe as a company should be done - supporting the men and women who employ our friends and neighbors, by keeping our money, our time, energy and commitments-LOCAL!
