Water Bill Printing Error For Service Reported: Buffalo Grove

BUFFALO GROVE, IL—Water bills recently sent to Buffalo Grove homeowners for the current billing cycle (Dec. 1, 2019-Jan. 31, 2020) indicate they were charged twice for the ‘Fixed Facility Fee.’

According to Buffalo Grove officials, residents were charged for only one ‘Fixed Facility Fee’ on this bill, totaling $17.39. The ‘Total New Charges’ amount is correct on the bill, they said.

For the next billing cycle, the ‘Fixed Facility Fee’ will be a single line item but will cover two months. This current water bill cycle covered only one month of the ‘Fixed Facility Fee’.

Village officials say they regret the error and apologize for any misunderstanding it may have caused.
