You know they say we're all a product of our environment. Just what does that really mean? Is it our immediate family, our neighborhood where we were raised or is it our friends, class mates, co-workers? Is it a combination of these or is it none of this? Is it a deity we can't quite explain or at least question?
Who are we? Are we the same person at five, at twenty-fifty, at fifty? How much actual control do we have, defining us? These are questions- legitimate questions- not easy ones either!
I think it about more and more. I probably thought about my entire life (just didn't place a lot of weight behind it). I 'm convinced though: my gut knows best! Yet many times you think with your head or your heart. Your gut though is the bottom line. I believe that's where your soul resides. That's the real you!
The connection where you, as you, are most welcome- to you!
We make mistakes and we learn from them. When we act on guts, we advance from them. We know what we like. We really don't know what we don't like. We think we do but there are so many options, choices, emotions to explore- you can't do it in a normal lifetime.
What I'm saying is: there are reasons why we are who we are. Valid reasons that reveal themselves as we age. Are we who we think we are?
In our dreams the answer is YES. In our nightmares, the answer is NO. That means we're evolving, just as the world is constantly changing. That means, we are a piece of LIFE. We belong. We are all unique.
If an ant can lift all that weight and if music can sooth the average beast- we must be way stronger, way wiser, way more capable, than we could ever imagine! We have worth, all of us- LIFE is Beautiful!!
