Wheeling CCSD21 School Board Recognized For Leadership, Service
The Illinois Association of School Boards recognized the district with School Board Governance, one of only 33 honored in the state.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Individual members, as well as the Wheeling Consolidated Community School District Board of Education as a whole, were honored earlier this week for several awards.
On Wednesday night, the Illinois Association of School Boards (North Cook Division), North Cook Division, recognized the board with the following designations:
- Established Board Leaders: Staci Allan and Jessica Riddick (secretary)
- Distinguished Board Leaders: Debra McAtee (vice president) and Bill Harrison
- Legacy Board Leaders: Arlen S. Gould and Phil Pritzker
- School Board Governance: Wheeling CCSD21
For the School Board Governance award, CCSD21 was one of only 33 school boards in the state with the designation, according to the district.

superintendent of finance and operations.
