WHEELING, IL — A 39-year-old woman drowned Thursday morning at the Village Green Clubhouse Pool. Police responded at 8:17 a.m. to 1533 Baldwin Court and the woman was taken to Glenbrook Hospital by the Wheeling Fire Department. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Nothing appears suspicious at this time and the drowning is being investigated by detectives from the Wheeling Police Department, according to a news release.
