2 Injured In Burr Ridge Crash: Cops
The passenger said the driver had a gun, but officers could not find one, police said.

BURR RIDGE, IL – A woman ran door to door earlier this month in a Burr Ridge neighborhood after the pickup truck she was in went off the road, police said.
The incident was about 4 a.m. Feb. 9 near 91st and Madison streets. Patch obtained the police report through a public records request.
According to the report, the woman, who was in a driveway, told an officer that the driver had a gun and had been driving "crazy." She appeared to be hurt, holding her arm.

Asked where the man was, the woman pointed to the pickup truck, which appeared to be stuck and damaged on the side of the road, police said.
The man, identified as 51-year-old Antonio Garcia-De Alba, was lying in the mud about 30 feet behind the truck, police said.

Garcia-De Alba, who seemed confused and dazed, said he was hurt in the lower back and left leg, according to the report.
Officers said they found no weapons on Garcia-De Alba.
Police blacked out the parts of the report that contained Garcia-DeAlba's account of the incident. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, police said.
Garcia-De Alba was cited on charges of failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended license.
The woman was taken to the hospital in Hinsdale for a possible broken arm, police said.
