$26K In Items Taken From Burr Ridge Gym Locker: Police
The theft of items took place while a customer was at Lifetime Fitness.
BURR RIDGE, IL — Working out turned into an expensive proposition for a customer at Lifetime Fitness in Burr Ridge. According to Burr Ridge police, the customer reported that $26,000 worth of items were stolen from his locker while he was at the gym. The items were a Rolex watch, a gold chain with a cross, two 16-inch MacBook Pros and two Apple Watches, police said. The theft happened about 8 p.m. on March 1.

- A police officer on March 2 served a complaint and summons to McNaughton Development, 11S220 Jackson St., because of violations of the village sign ordinance.
- Auto Mechanics Local 701, 16W361 S. Frontage Road, reported that someone tried to pry open the southwest door between 4:30 pm. Feb. 28 and 9:30 a.m. March 2. There was visible damage to the lock, but the suspect did not gain entry.
- The assistant principal at Pleasantdale Middle School reported a teacher saw two people lurking outside a window on the northwest side of the building about 9 a.m. March 3. Police did not find the people. But when exterior video was checked, the school was able to identify the people as part of a group of students a substitute teacher in the room next door allowed outside to read.
- Sakeena L. Terry, 36, was arrested about 10 p.m. March 4 at 79th Street and Drew Avenue on a Kane County warrant.
