3 Cars Stolen In Burr Ridge: Cops

BURR RIDGE, IL – Three cars were stolen during the early morning hours Wednesday in Burr Ridge, police said.

The thefts were in the 7500, 11400 and 11500 blocks of Ridgewood Lane, police said.

In a statement, police said suspects are searching for unlocked cars with the keys left inside and then stealing them.

The suspects are also stealing purses and wallets and then using the identities and credit cards of the victims while traveling in their stolen cars, police said.

Police asked residents to lock their cars and keep their outside lighting on. They also urged residents to never leave their keys or garage door openers inside cars parked outside.
