3 Neighbor Complaints In Burr Ridge

In one case, a resident is upset that a neighbor cut her grass, police say.

ELMHURST, IL — Burr Ridge police take complaints all the time regarding differences between neighbors. Here is information from the latest reports:

  • A resident in the 9S100 block of Madison Street complained that her neighbor was on her property and cut her grass May 30. She said she did not want her neighbor on her property, including cutting her grass. An officer spoke with the neighbor, who agreed to the request.
  • A resident complained May 29 about someone driving loud machinery outside in the backyard. An officer spoke with the groundskeeper, who said she was cutting the grass. She lives on premises and said she waited for the sun to go down to cut the grass because it was too hot. She said she was done for the night.
  • A resident on Shag Bark Court informed police that loud music was coming from a house in the 8000 block of Buck Trail. Police spoke with the offending homeowner, who turned down the music.
