Ice Cream Chain Opening Burr Ridge Location

BURR RIDGE, IL – Burr Ridge residents have another place to go for a treat this summer.

By month's end, Kilwins Ice Cream is expected to open at 745 Village Center Drive, which is part of the Burr Ridge Village Center.

Founded in 1947, the company now has nearly 200 locations, mostly in the eastern half of the United States.

Nearby Kilwins shops are in Elmhurst, Park Ridge, Naperville, Wheaton and Chicago.

Last week, the chain said on its Burr Ridge-specific Facebook page, "We're getting closer every day, and we can't wait to open our doors and share hand-crafted chocolates, fresh fudge, ice cream and our iconic caramel apples with you."
