Jewel/Osco in Darien is one of the grocery stores that supplies the HCS Family Services Food Pantry with beautiful fresh produce and meat as well as dairy and shelf stable items. I pick up food from this store 4 times every week. I depend on them to help me keep the pantry shelves stocked.
They have asked me if I could help them with a very important project. Saturday March 9th. and Sunday March 10th. 10am to 6pm both days. They need our help by manning a table inside their store that will be asking their customers to purchase items that will be made into "goodie bags" to be sent to U.S. troupes overseas.
