Neuroradiologists Joins Loyola's Burr Ridge Team

Fang Zhu, MD, PhD, brings her expertise in neuroradiology imaging to Loyola University Health System. In addition, she is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.

Her medical interests include neuroimaging, functional MRI and abdomen imaging.

She is active in research and has had numerous articles published in scholarly journals including the Radiology and Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. She is a sought-after educator and presenter having made presentations at medical conferences around the world. In 2011 she was awarded the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Certificate of Merit for Educational Exhibit.

She is a member of the Chinese Radiological Society, Radiological Society of North America, American Society of Neuroradiology and American College of Radiology.

She earned her medical degree from Tong Ji Medical University in Wuhan, China, and her PhD from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China. She completed a residency in radiology at Tong Ji Hospital and fellowships in neuroradiology at Tong Ji Hospital and University of Chicago Medical Center.
