Assault Outside Restaurant, Domestic Disturbance: Burr Ridge Cops
Man says another man assaulted him outside of restaurant, but the victim declines to file a report, police say.
BURR RIDGE, IL — The latest blotter from the Burr Ridge Police Department included an assault outside of a restaurant and domestic disturbance that resulted in an ambulance call. The following is information from the department:
- A man leaving Capri Ristorante, 324 Burr Ridge Parkway, about 4 p.m. Dec. 29 reported that another man put his arm around the first man's neck in a "menacing" manner. The suspect left in a silver Dodge Intrepid. The victim said he did not want to sign a complaint against the suspect. Police labeled the incident a simple assault.
- Marie F. Kucera, 29, of Burr Ridge, was arrested on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant shortly after 1 a.m. Dec. 26 in the 10 block of Bay Rum Court.
- A security guard at CNH Industrial, 6900 Veterans Blvd., reported a semi truck driver making a delivery was refusing to leave at 9 a.m. Dec. 26. The guard said the plant was closed until Dec. 30 unless an appointment was made with an employee. The guard then called his contact and found an employee who could take the delivery later in the day.
- The driver of a 2014 Chevrolet swerved off the road and crashed through a wooden fence to avoid a raccoon about 11 a.m. Dec. 26 on the east side of County Line Road.
- When officers assisted an ambulance crew shortly before noon Dec. 27 in the 7700 block of Hamilton Avenue, they noticed blood on the bathroom floor and determined a domestic battery had occurred an hour before. A father and son were involved in an altercation.
- A woman in the 6100 block of Wildwood Lane told officers she wanted her great-nephew out of the house. The woman said her great-nephew had grabbed her hand while she was attempting to move his suitcase. The report was made at 4 p.m. Dec. 27.
