Bolingbrook Man Shot At Burr Ridge Hotel: Police

The incident appears to have stemmed from an argument between hotel guests, police say.

BURR RIDGE, IL — A 39-year-old Bolingbrook man suffered multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning at a Burr Ridge hotel, police said.

The man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he underwent surgery, according to a Burr Ridge police news release. He is out of surgery and in the intensive care unit, police said Monday. His name was not released.

The incident happened about 3 a.m. at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 15W300 S. Frontage Road.

Witnesses told police the shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument between hotel guests. Police said the incident appears isolated and that there is no danger to the public.

Witnesses described the suspected shooter as an African American man who appeared young with a skinny build. He may have left the hotel in a gold Chevrolet HHR.
