Burr Ridge Teens Help Loyola Bring Hope

Loyola thanks the Stritch Junior Service League for helping us to bring help and hope to those in need.

We are so grateful to the nearly 40 high school students from Chicago’s western suburbs, inlcuding Burr Ridge, who participated in service activities this summer as members of the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine Junior Service League (SJSL).

Participants volunteered in a variety of ways at locations across the Chicago area. The activities fostered personal growth by giving SJSL members hands-on experience with community-based organizations such as West Suburban PADS, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, The British Home and Misericordia. Members of the SJSL will be recognized at the annual Stritch Dinner held at the Chicago Field Museum on Saturday, November, 17, 2012. To purchase tickets call (312) 915-7662.
