Mardi-Gras Themed Benefit to Help Burn Patients in Zambia
Fundraiser at Willowbrook Ballroom to benefit burn patients in Zambia

This spring volunteer medical personnel, led by Loyola University Health System physicians, will be bringing their expertise and care to children in Zambia who have been injured due to burn accidents. Burn injuries are common in Zambia since much of the lighting and heating is done by kerosene and open fired are used for cooking. The team consists of plastic surgeons, a surgeon who specializes in the care of burns, anesthesiologists, nurses and a physical therapist.
You acn be a part of bringing care to those in need by attending a Mardi Gras-themed fundraiser that will be held at the Willowbrook Ballroom on Saturday, February 18th. The event will include:
- Dancing
- Cajun Food
- Silent Auction
- Costume prizes
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Pain Free Foundation which is sponsoring the Zambia trip.
