Burr Ridge Aims For 'Healthy Tree Canopy'

The village reveals where most of this year's work will take place.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Burr Ridge is committed to keeping a "healthy tree canopy," the village said on social media over the weekend.

In a Facebook post, the village said it contracted with La Grange Park-based Winkler Tree Service to provide regularly scheduled parkway tree maintenance.

The village arborist closely monitors the health and development of local parkway trees, with Winkler set to trim trees larger than eight inches in diameter, the village said.
