Burr Ridge Attorney Poised To Get Raise

The village said the new rates would be comparable to other towns.

BURR RIDGE, IL – The Burr Ridge Village Board plans to vote Monday on whether to give a raise to its attorney.

The village's law firm is Rosemont-based Storino, Ramello & Durkin. Mike Durkin is the main attorney for the village.

Under the village's current agreement, the firm makes $200 an hour for general corporate and litigation services and $180 an hour for prosecutorial services.

Under a new contract, the rates would increase to $215 and $195, respectively.

According to the village, the new rates would be comparable to those paid by other DuPage County towns that use outside law firms.
