Burr Ridge Cops Handle Social Distancing Issues

BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge police are dealing with issues of social distancing among residents. Here are two recent incidents in which police handled such situations:

• An officer saw a few different families in the front yard of a house in the 11700 block of Briarwood Lane about 4:30 p.m. May 9. They were practicing social distancing. The officer reminded them to continue this practice.
• A resident informed police at 5:30 p.m. May 8 about a birthday party taking place on Ambriance Drive. When an officer drove by, he saw one car parked in the driveway and one on the street. No one was outside, and no violations were seen.
