Burr Ridge Executive Assistant Retires
Barbara Popp, the village of Burr Ridge's executive assistant is retiring after 25 years at the village.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Barbara Popp, the village of Burr Ridge's executive assistant is retiring after 25 years at the village. According to the village newsletter, Popp has served at the village since August 1993 as the executive secretary to the village administrator and mayor and as the executive secretary to the board of fire and police commissioners.
Popp's last day was Sept. 14. The village said her many other responsibilities included support for the employee benefits program, the Village’s liability insurance administration, employee benefits, human resources, and many other responsibilities.
