Burr Ridge Garden Club Makes Thank You Cards For Veterans

BURR RIDGE, IL — The Burr Ridge Park District Garden Club will make thank you cards for veterans at 3 p.m., Monday, July 30. According to the village newsletter, the garden club will host the service project at the community center, 15W400 Harvester Drive.

The cards will be red, white and blue, so participants can bring red, white, blue, gold and silver art supplies that they would like to donate to the project. Paper, cards will be provided, as well as a snack. There is no charge for the event, but pre-registration is required.

Participants should also bring a non- perishable food item if you would also like to donate to a local food pantry. You can call the Burr Ridge Park District at 630-920-1969 to register.
