Burr Ridge Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint: Cops

Suspects made off with $2,000 in cigarettes, police said.

BURR RIDGE, IL — The Shell gas station at 610 S. Frontage Road was held up at gunpoint about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, Burr Ridge police said. The clerk said two men dressed in all black made off with $2,000 in Newport cigarettes, according to a police report.

Here is other information from the Burr Ridge Police Department's latest blotter:

  • Frizell P. Reynolds was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. Dec. 14 at 91st Street and Route 83 on a warrant for failure to appear in court. The suspect was processed and taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A person was seen highly intoxicated and stumbling on the sidewalk shortly after noon Dec. 14 at Kenmare Drive and Plainfield Road. The person refused medical treatment and was taken to a hotel.
  • Richard L. Callero, 30, was arrested Dec. 14 at 62nd Street and Garfield Avenue on warrants from Will and Kendall counties after an officer stopped a car in which Callero was a passenger. Callero posted bonds.
  • Michelle A. Guzman, 27, was arrested shortly before 12:30 a.m. Dec. 15 on Burr Ridge Police Department and DuPage County warrants. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • An "extremely" intoxicated person walked into the wrong apartment about 4:30 a.m. Dec. 15 on Lake Drive. No arrest was made. A Burr Ridge officer was with DuPage County deputies in the investigation.
  • A black 2018 Audi was stolen from a driveway between 11:30 a.m. Dec. 14 and 1 a.m. Dec. 15 on Arbor Avenue. The car was unlocked and the key fob was inside.
  • Police responded to domestic trouble about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 on Park Avenue. Someone wanted his or her son to leave after an argument ensued about college plans. The son left for the night.
  • Mario Aguilar, 36, was arrested at Interstate 55 and Route 83 about 12:30 a.m. Dec. 18 on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He was stopped because he was driving without lights.
