Burr Ridge Mayor Upset With Patch
The mayor said one of the outlet's reporters has failed to provide positive coverage.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso over the weekend again expressed his unhappiness with Patch's coverage of the village.
"More 'Patchetic' nonsense from David Giuliani today," he said on Facebook, referring to a Patch reporter. "Remember, the next positive article he writes about Patch will be his first."
Grasso did not identify which story angered him. But the latest one by Giuliani was about how the village's zoning panel recommended against a wheelchair user's request for an accessibility issue.

Last year, Grasso accused Giuliani of presenting an anti-Italian-American bias in his stories about Filippo "Gigi" Rovito's Capri Ristorante and Are We Live lounge.
Grasso's recent comment was on his "Gary Grasso – Mayor of Burr Ridge" page, which has nearly 800 followers.

His page is classified under Facebook's "Public & Government Service" category. But the page contains many posts from his recent Republican campaign for Congress.
In the June 28 Republican primary, Grasso lost to Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau in the 6th Congressional District.
Grasso has not returned messages for comment.
