A Burr Ridge Memorial For 21 Uvalde Victims

BURR RIDGE, IL – Pleasantdale Middle School in Burr Ridge found a way to remember the 21 victims in the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, the school put out 21 desks along its front sidewalk. Its electronic sign read, "In Memorium of the Students and Staff at Robb Elementary School."

Residents expressed appreciation of the memorial on the school district's Facebook page.

"Driving past those desks, such a powerful message," a woman wrote.

Another added, "Cried my eyes out when I drove past."

"This just gave me chills," a third person said.
