Burr Ridge Resident Chases Prowlers Before They Crash Car: Police
Man sees three men on his property before he pursues them.

BURR RIDGE, IL — A Burr Ridge resident saw three men enter his unlocked car and then use his garage door opener to enter his garage about 4:30 a.m. June 28, according to a police report. The resident then chased them out, and the men crash their car into a tree on Tori Court. They abandoned their car and headed west in a gray Mercedes, police said.
Burr Ridge police included no other information in their report.
About an hour before, police received a report that two people stole an Amazon package containing an Echo Show in the 10 block of Seneca Court. The people also checked the door handles on two cars in the driveway. While handling this call, police noticed a Chevrolet Tahoe parked on the grass at the entrance to the 8400 block of Arrowhead Drive. Officers learned the car was stolen from another resident's driveway. The police report did not say where the resident lived.
